+Wedding Ceremonies are special.  They are special to the Bride and to the Groom.  They are special for the families involved.  They are special for the representation of "two becoming one" in the eyes of God.

I take your wedding very seriously.  I work with you to make sure you receive exactly the kind of wedding officiating that you desire.  I will travel to your location (within 20 miles of Baltimore, Maryland - farther distances are negotiable).  I have performed the wedding ceremony on a boat as well as outdoors; in a church as well as a restaurant; in City Hall as well as a fishing pier.

It is YOUR special day.  I will do what I can to fit right in with your plans (within reason, of course)!  But the important thing, is the vows and the actual joining together of two distinct persons into Holy Wedlock.  That is the part I take very seriously.  I have three basic ceremonies which I have conducted over the past 19 plus years.

1. The Traditional Ceremony:  This takes about 12-15 minutes to perform. It includes a couple of scripture readings; a Blessing over the Bride and Groom; ring ceremony (one or two rings); and optional candle ceremony or "mixing of sand" ceremony as well (I do not provide the candles or the sand - I just incorporate these into the ceremony).  This is the most popular ceremony.  The standard rate for this type of ceremony is $350 and includes my attendance at a Rehearsal.  (75% of the ceremonies I have been part of is this ceremony)

2. The "Episcopalian" Ceremony:  This is a longer version of the "Traditional Ceremony."  It involves the reading of Scriptures; taking of the Communion; prayers and blessings as well as the ring ceremony and lighting of candles, taking communion, singing of hymns, etc.  This ceremony takes between 35-45 minutes to perform (maybe longer depending on circumstances).  The standard rate for this ceremony is $500 and includes my attendance at a Rehearsal. (Maybe 1% of my clients choose this ceremony. They probably are part of a larger, denominational church that can provide these services for them. My clients typically do not fit the profile for this type of ceremony. But I offer it, just in case).

3. The Civil Ceremony:  This ceremony is minus all of the frills.  It is designed to bring the couple officially together in front of witnesses and take the vows of marriage.  This ceremony takes approximately 5-7 minutes to perform.  I have even included mixing of sand or lighting of candles in this ceremony as well! The standard rate for this type of ceremony is only $175 - since there typically is not a Rehearsal required and the ceremony is so short. (About 25% of the ceremonies I am asked to participate in is this ceremony).

The important thing to remember is this: I work FOR YOU!  My job is to incorporate the required functions of the officiant into YOUR CEREMONY (not the other way around)!  Go to my Thumbtack profile and look at all of the 5* ratings of my prior clients...more rating than most other officiants on Thumbtack (most, not all...)!

If you are wondering about what "words" will be used in the ceremony, I have published a book, "The Wedding Ceremony: A Handbook for Pastors and Ministers" which is available on Amazon.com.  This book has become popular with new ministers in the Faith and Bible School / Seminary graduates.  This book contains all three of the above listed ceremonies and is the result of all my years of conducting wedding ceremonies.  Instead of using two or three different manuals, I consolidated the three main ceremonies into one convenient handbook.

For more information on having me attend to your wedding ceremony needs, regardless of the type (Traditional; Episcopalian or Civil Ceremony), please click the link below.  This will take you to "Thumbtack" for the formal request.  I am always looking for ways to increase awareness of my services.  "Thumbtack" is a good way for me to help show off my expertise in Wedding Ceremonies.  Check out my profile to learn even more about what I can do for you in your wedding ceremony!

Pastor Bob did a phenomenal job officiating my wedding. I am a very intuitive person and when I met him, right away I felt at ease and after my wedding, I knew I made the right choice. My wedding started late and I was really stressed out but Pastor Bob was professional and patient which immediately calmed me down. I cannot think him enough for making my wedding one of the most beautiful moments of my life.
